NuroPicks Capper Outreach Templates

Owner: David (outbound). Mar co-signs on discovery calls. Companion doc: CAPPER_OUTREACH_PLAYBOOK.md (strategy + ICP deep dive). Last updated: 2026-04-18

Preamble

ICP (Ideal Customer Profile). Capper groups with 5k+ Twitter/X followers running an active Discord (500-5000 members, 3+ picks/week), OR established solo cappers with 500+ paid Whop subs. They are currently duct-taping spreadsheets, free Discord bots, and manual Sheets tracking. They hate ops and want clout + revenue. Skip anyone >50k followers with a 10k+ Discord; they have in-house ops already and won't move.

Prioritization. Pull list from X advanced search + Whop marketplace leaderboards. Sort descending by X follower count. Take the top 50 who publish more than 3 Whop picks per week. Discard anyone whose last pick was more than 7 days ago (dead accounts). Batch in groups of 20 for daily outreach.

Success metric. 200 cold DMs per month at 5% close rate = 10 paid clients. Target split: 6 Solo Capper Bundle ($100/mo) + 3 Team Bundle ($200/mo) + 1 Done-For-You ($800 setup + $300/mo) = $1,500 MRR + $800 setup month 1.

Voice rules. Casual, direct, no "unlock your potential" slop, no em dashes, no multi-paragraph pitches on first touch. If they respond with a question, answer in one sentence and book the call.

1. Twitter/X DM (first touch)

  • Purpose: opener for solo cappers or capper-group admins with a public X presence
  • Persona: solo capper OR group admin
  • Channel: X DM (240 char max; X truncates past that)
  • Expected close rate from this touch alone: 2-3% (most closes happen on follow-ups)
yo {{capper_name}} quick q

been watching {{latest_content_ref}} - how are you tracking results rn? spreadsheets?

built NuroPicks - we run the ops layer for cappers (discord bot + tracker + dashboard). flat $100/mo, no rev share. worth 15 min?

2. Discord DM (after joining their server)

  • Purpose: warmer touch after joining + lurking 48 hrs in their Discord
  • Persona: group admin (solo cappers rarely run their own Discord)
  • Channel: Discord DM
  • Expected close rate: 4-6% (higher because you've seen their actual ops)
Hey {{capper_name}}, been in the server a couple days. Saw {{latest_content_ref}} - solid read.

Noticed y'all are tracking picks in {{current_tool_observed}}. That's usually where things fall apart at {{follower_count}}+ members.

Running a platform called NuroPicks. We replace the spreadsheet + free-bot setup with a proper ops stack: 46-command Discord bot, multi-book odds, parlay builder, ROI rollups per capper, branded dashboard. $200/mo flat for groups, no rev share on your sub revenue.

If it sounds useful I can do a 20-min walkthrough this week. If not no worries, just figured I'd reach out since you're clearly running a real operation.

3. LinkedIn InMail (formal)

  • Purpose: for cappers with a LinkedIn presence or business entity behind the handle
  • Persona: capper who treats picks as a business (usually a group owner or solo sharp scaling up)
  • Channel: LinkedIn InMail
  • Expected close rate: 6-8% (LinkedIn filters out tire kickers; audience is smaller but more serious)
Subject: NuroPicks infra for {{capper_name}}

Hi {{capper_name}},

I run NuroPicks, a managed operations platform for sports-pick businesses. Came across your work via {{latest_content_ref}} and wanted to reach out directly.

Short pitch: we build and maintain the full Discord + tracking + dashboard + branding stack for capper groups on a flat monthly retainer. No rev share, you keep 100% of your subscriber revenue. Our stack is live (46-command bot on Railway, multi-book odds feed, SHAP-explainable model outputs, Whop billing integration, NOWPayments for crypto).

Two packages that fit groups your size:
- Team retainer: $200/mo, you self-manage in our platform
- Done-For-You: $800 setup + $300/mo, we migrate your existing Discord in 72 hours and handle ops

Happy to send a 3-min Loom walkthrough or book a call. Either works.

4. Email (cold, public address)

  • Purpose: for cappers who list a business email on their Whop/X bio/site
  • Persona: either (solo or group); email tolerates a longer pitch with ROI numbers
  • Channel: Email
  • Expected close rate: 3-5% (lower open rate than DMs, but higher quality when they do reply)
Subject: cutting {{capper_name}} ops overhead by ~20hrs/week

Hey {{capper_name}},

Short pitch then I'll get out of your inbox.

You've got {{follower_count}} followers on X and your Whop is doing real numbers. The bottleneck for most cappers at your stage is ops: tracking picks manually, running a free Discord bot that breaks, building your own dashboards, chasing refund requests when the bot miscounts a pick.

NuroPicks is a managed ops platform built specifically for that problem. What you'd get:

- Full Discord bot (46 commands live, multi-book odds via /odds, /parlay-builder, Kelly sizing on /bet, leaderboards, CLV tracker)
- Branded web dashboard for your subscribers
- SHAP-explainable AI picks engine you can whitelabel or ignore
- Whop billing + NOWPayments crypto rails plugged in
- Optional 85/15 marketplace listing if you want distribution to our existing bettor base

Pricing for someone your size:
- Solo Capper Bundle: $100/mo
- Done-For-You migration: $800 one-time + $300/mo, we rebuild your Discord in 72 hours

Rough ROI math: if you're spending 20 hrs/week on ops at $50/hr opportunity cost, that's $4,000/mo of your time. Our top package is $300/mo. You clear $3,700/mo and your sub experience gets better.

30-day money-back guarantee on the setup fee. If we don't migrate cleanly in 72 hours, you get the full setup fee refunded and keep whatever we built.

Want a 20-min call this week? Reply with a time and I'll send a Cal link.

5. Follow-up #1 — Day 3, no response

  • Purpose: bump the thread in case the first message got buried
  • Persona: either
  • Channel: same as first touch
  • Expected close rate (incremental on top of first touch): +1-2%
hey {{capper_name}}, bumping this in case it got buried. not trying to spam you, just figured I'd check once. if you're not interested just say "pass" and I'll stop

6. Follow-up #2 — Day 7, social proof

  • Purpose: reintroduce with a credibility anchor
  • Persona: either
  • Channel: same as first touch
  • Expected close rate (incremental): +1-2%
one more and I'll leave you alone. migrated {{recent_client_reference}} to our stack last week, they were tracking picks in a Google Sheet and their bot kept crashing on Sundays. 72 hours later they had a branded Discord + live ROI dashboard. same offer stands if you want it.

p.s. if timing is off just tell me when to circle back

Fill {{recent_client_reference}} with a real migration once you have one. Until then use a generic: "a 3-capper group running ~2k Whop subs."

7. Follow-up #3 — Day 14, breakup + resource

  • Purpose: close the loop, leave a useful asset so they remember you when the pain hits
  • Persona: either
  • Channel: same as first touch
  • Expected close rate (incremental): +0.5-1%, plus inbound weeks later when ops break
closing the loop on this one. not gonna keep bumping you.

if ops headaches come up later, here's the migration checklist we use for new cappers: {{migration_checklist_link}}

use it with us or without us. good luck with the rest of the season.

Swap {{migration_checklist_link}} to a Notion/Linear public link or the /for-cappers page once live.

8. Objection: "Already have a Discord / tracker"

  • Purpose: handle the most common objection
  • Persona: either
  • Channel: reply in whatever thread the objection landed
  • Expected close rate (from objection to close): 15-20%
totally fair. most cappers we talk to already have something duct-taped together. the question isn't "do you have a tracker," it's "how many hours a week are you spending on ops that aren't picks or content."

here's what we do differently: 72-hour migration. we move your existing Discord, your pick history, your sub list, everything. you don't rebuild anything. first month is $300 and if it's not cleaner than what you have now you get a full refund.

worst case you lose 72 hours. best case you get 20 hrs/week of your life back. want a 15-min walkthrough to see the migration flow?

9. Objection: "Too expensive at $300-500/mo"

  • Purpose: handle price objection with ROI + explicit 30-day guarantee
  • Persona: usually solo cappers or small groups early in their journey
  • Channel: reply in thread
  • Expected close rate (from objection to close): 20-25%
I hear that a lot, so let me just lay out the math.

$300/mo = $10/day. if you've got {{follower_count}} followers and {{sub_count}} paying subs, you're probably clearing $2k-5k/mo minimum. $10/day is 0.3% of that.

where it actually pays for itself: the time. most cappers we onboard are spending 15-25 hrs/week on ops (tracking picks, updating Sheets, fixing the bot, answering sub DMs about ROI). we take that to under 2 hrs/week. if your time is worth $30/hr conservatively, that's $2k+/mo of your time back.

and here's the safety net: 30-day money-back guarantee. if at day 30 you don't feel it's worth $300, email me and I refund the full setup fee AND the first month retainer. no pro-rating, no gotchas, no survey to fill out. you keep everything we built for you.

I can't really be more fair than that. want to try it for 30 days on the guarantee?

10. Objection: "How is this different from OddsJam / Pikkit?"

  • Purpose: positioning vs adjacent tools
  • Persona: either (usually sharper cappers who've shopped around)
  • Channel: reply in thread
  • Expected close rate: 10-15%
good question and the honest answer is we do different jobs.

OddsJam and Pikkit are trackers for bettors. a subscriber installs Pikkit on their phone, connects their sportsbook, sees their own ROI. the product is built for the person placing the bet.

NuroPicks is the ops stack for the capper selling the picks. your subscribers never touch NuroPicks directly; they experience your Discord, your dashboard, your branding. we run the bot + tracking + analytics + billing behind the scenes. you keep 100% of sub revenue, we charge a flat retainer.

if you want your subs to track their personal bankroll, point them at Pikkit. if you want to stop spending 20 hrs/week duct-taping your own ops together, that's us. they're complements, not competitors.

fwiw we also have an 85/15 marketplace option if you want distribution to our existing bettor audience on top of the retainer. separate conversation but worth mentioning.

Gaps flagged for David (need input before outreach starts)

  1. Public migration-checklist link. Template 7 references {{migration_checklist_link}}. No public URL exists yet. Needs a Notion page or /for-cappers/migration-checklist route before day-14 follow-ups can send.
  2. First reference client for Template 6. {{recent_client_reference}} needs a real name (or at least a described anonymous case) before we can claim social proof honestly. Until then use the generic fallback noted inline.
  3. 30-day guarantee: legal language. The objection handlers commit to a full refund of setup fee + first month retainer. Need David + Mar to confirm this is the actual policy and draft one-line T&Cs for the landing page so it's defensible.
  4. Cal.com or Calendly link. Template 4 says "reply with a time and I'll send a Cal link." Ideally we send the link directly in the email. David: pick the scheduler and paste the link here.
  5. /for-cappers and /for-teams landing pages. Multiple templates reference these. Still unbuilt per the BOC framework memory action items.
  6. Done-For-You SLA. Templates 3, 8, 9 promise 72-hour migration. Need an internal runbook before we sell it, otherwise first client burns the offer's credibility.
  7. Whop + NOWPayments: tenant-level billing. We mention "Whop billing integration" but per the BOC memory "Per-group billing" is still a net-new build. Either soften the copy or prioritize wiring this before outreach starts.

Once those 7 items close, David is clear to run 200 DMs/month using this library.
