Standard vig

Sharp books like Pinnacle, Circa, and Bookmaker run 2 to 3 percent vig on sides and totals. Square books (DK, FD, MGM, Caesars) typically run 4.5 to 5 percent. Prop markets can run 6 to 12 percent depending on liquidity.

How to use this

1. Copy both sides of a market from a sharp book (Pinnacle preferred when available).
2. Paste the American odds into both fields.
3. The fair no-vig price is your best estimate of the true implied probability of each outcome.
4. If you can get a price at a square book that beats the no-vig fair number, you have positive expected value against the sharp market. This is the definition of a +EV bet.
